Native chickens are more resistant to diseases, than broilers because they are bred naturally, without the use of commercial feeds and medicines. their body tend to develop a high level of immunity as a by product of natural breeding. chicken world
Domesticated birds which are raised as a source of human are known as poultry. Chickens raised for their eggs are class as poultry. Many chickens are raised on farms as a by product of general farming. The ordinary barnyard chicken, left to do so, will steal away to a hidden nest and lay one egg a day until there are as many in the nest as her feathers will cover. She will then keep them warm with the heat of her body for 20 to 21 days until the chicks hatched. She does not begin laying again until the young chicks are able to care for themselves.
